i once had a friend called poppy. ( poppy is a small purple flower )
Poppy's character was as bright and cheerful as the sun,
humorous and adorable.
however this was only what i saw at the beginning of our friendship,
until i realise that deep down she was as vicious as the thorns of the roses..
i liked poppy alot. poppy was really very fun to hang around with ,
and poppy never fail to make people laugh.
poppy's cheerfulness makes the people around her happy too.
poppy's influential personality also means
that when she's in bad mood people become cranky too.

after some time, poppy started to turn mean.
mean to me, also to others . but mostly me i guess..
poppy sometimes scold me and told me to go away.
those simple words like " go away" hurt me a lot ..
but i listened to poppy .. still treated poppy like a good friend.
my other friends turned a blind eye to this situation..
i felt even worse and sad. then one day poppy left us.
poppy left us for the roses... roses are the very popular ones.
me and my friends still treat it like nothing happened.
i felt sad.. angry perhaps. poppy told me quite some stuff.. i think i did too.
i can't bear such a friend to go. even though poppy is in wrong..
on and off poppy joined and left us.. like we're a shelter .

later on.. i realised poppy has been talking bad things behind my back.
i was so disappointed .. that i seem to be angry. why did poppy do such things?
what have i done wrong for poppy to treat me like this..
finally, poppy officially left us. maybe its better for us and for poppy.
but its not the end yet.. in poppy's diary were full of my gossips.
my bad stuff.. blablabla. i didn't do anything . can't be bothered to.
maybe such a friend is meant to be lost ..
this is when i realised that poppy had evil plots all along..
poppy's plot was to turn my friends against me . i felt so despaired..
yet to poppy it seems like no big deal to hurt people's feelings.
i even found out poppy has been telling around bad things about me..
each time i think of it.. i don't know whether to be angry or sad.
i chose to hate poppy.. but there's no point.. my hatred has subsided.

recently.. poppy had a quarrell with the roses.. so poppy joined the lavenders.
loveable , sweet and gentle .. but everyone has a bad side.
but now.. poppy has been sticking close to my closest and long friend lily..
i feel betrayed seeing them go out together. i feel so sad.. that lily don't
understand how i feel. maybe poppy's target is to make me sad? i don't know.
it's like me going out with your enemy.. you guys get it ?
and worse thing is.. lily didn't like poppy before.. now lily thinks poppy is ok.
maybe after all these while.. this was poppy's aim .
no point for me to feel sad right.. but sometimes i just can't bottle up my feelings.
nor hide it from other people.. so im posting it here. sigh.

friends are like flowers, they wither after some time.
so don't bother watering them , for they'll be gone one day.
